OneEye: Do you fish? How to you handle your fish? How do you know that the fish you just caught and released (without putting it in your livewell) is going to survive? I am interest to see if you are a fisherman at all and if so, what do you do that is so increadibly special that makes you so different that the rest of us.

North Texas Fiberglass: Yes, I do fish. Most fish that are released immediately after landing have a far better chance of survival that fish confined in boat livewells all day and continuously exposed to poor water quality and fast rough rides lasting all day and the weigh-in beating provided there is no an artery or gill laceration or abrasive injury to the cornea of the eye. If the eyes are scraped or injured, infection, blindness, starvation and death is imminent. Be careful not to injure their eyes.
The only things I do that is so incredibly different than you is I chose to read KEEPING BASS ALIVE and I am willing to practice the best bass care possible just as the book describes. The book also described other less effective methods of bass care that are less than the best care possible. I chose not to provide less than the best bass care possible.
The degree of bass care Im willing to provide compared to the degree of bass care youre willing to provide for tournament bass in the summer is the difference and that difference is obviously crystal clear; I'm willing to practice the best bass care recommendations of the fishery scientist that wrote KEEPING BASS Alive.

I'm sure I'll get slammed for this but here goes....We ALL need to relax...its a freakin' bass, caring for a resource is one thing but to insult people and question ethics over how a bass that was LEGALLY caught and handled is nonsense. I give a damn about what I catch and don't have to read a book that is supposedly gonna put me on a higher plane or something according to a person on this thread. I'm sick and tired of "cut and paste" answers when that particular person is asked a question. I think a lot of folks here want to learn more and would be very receptive to new ideas. Stop with the insults and answer some questions.....use the audience you have here One Eye, beleive it or not we are listening we just do not have to be insulted by you along the way I being serious, tell us more from YOUR perspective, you may just be surprised. Lots of good folks here!!!! Darrell: I respect your reply after you read all of ours. I respect you sticking to your guns. Its nice to be able to debate and talk about issues and I commend you for the way you have responded. To all, yes even you One Eye...please take care and go fishing...I'm done. Mark
