He wrote it after that pic. He got a bunch of grief for holding that way. He said he never knew it could break the jaw so he researched it and wrote the article.

NO, that is not the correct way Mike! Obviously, the guy is standing on one leg really, he can pull something. He needs to be standing on both feet.


But honestly, the best way to hold them and not mess with the mouth is shown in my photo below. Just grab the skin on the side. This way, you are sure not to break the jaw or hurt their head. Or is this wrong also? cool

If you break it's jaw this is the correct way to dispose of the fish.

I usually spin mine in a circular motion keeping my arm extended. I heard if you make 'em dizzy, it will not upset the school. crazy

I have always thought breaking/stretching a females jaw was a good thing.
