From looking at some posts of fishermen and "guides" holding bass they need to learn correct way to hold bass without breaking their jaws.

From looking at some posts of fishermen and "guides" holding bass they need to learn correct way to hold bass without breaking their jaws. This would be more helpful if you offered advice and or pics on the proper way. Otherwise it just looks like your starting trouble.

Theres billions of fish, a few broken jaws here and there are going to happen. If you care about the fish so much why are you even fishing in the first place? You don't think setting a hook is doing any damage to them?

BASS and other tournaments use to include a tri-fold pamphlet proper fish handling, I will look for mine. here is another well written article by Bernie Schultz with references from fish biologist's on how jaw damage occurs. http://www.bassmaster.com/blog/how-not-hold-hawg# "to each their own", but Bernie admitted he was wrong and now handles his fish differently.
