Well, you would have never guessed it was Monday up at LMF. Spring Breakers don't care of it rains all day....they don't even need rain jackets. Several guys had their sons up there...great to see some father and son time!! Fish were finicky. Light biters....everyone was saying that. We did enjoy our trip and it's taken 2 days to dry out so I can type this out.
You can avoid having ulcers by adapting to the situation: If you fall in the mud puddle, check your pockets for fish. ~Unknown
Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life youre living.
No matter how good or bad you have it, wake up each day thankful for your life. Someone somewhere else is desperately fighting for theirs.

We took a car and what a mistake. Hwy 259 is tore up! Big ol holes and rocks everywhere. Driving at night in the rain and hitting those was stressful. Be careful!! We saw several folks with blown out tires.

We up here now, fished yesterday awhile only caught one 10" brown. Trout fishing is not my gig for sure, this fast moving water and lack of experience is not a good fit. Agree about the roads .....wow ! Going to try something different today I think

Seeing that there was rain in the forcast I decided to come back today, luckily got the tent down as it started to drizzle! Had a awesome time fly fishing, even hooked this bad boy as my first catch! Also caught 5 rainbows Needless to say I am hooked on fly fishing! Me and my dad are planning a trip up there soon and I can't wait!
