Since a lot of you striper fishermen have center console boats, I have a question for you: How do you get in and out of your boats when they are on their trailers? My boat is 66 inches high and I have heck getting in and out of it. I sure would appreciate your advice.

Step on trailer fenders. When it is in the boat barn I keep a step stool next to the boat. Walk right up and step over in boat. Johnny

I step on the trailer's fenders also to get in and out of my SeaPro. But I don't think my aluminum fenders support over 250# persons.

If I don't have a dock at the lake I have an old swim ladder to hang over the bow to climb aboard that folds flat I store in my front compartment. On the trailer I have a swim deck on the back with a fold out swim ladder attached. Step on the fender and on to the swim deck or over the side.

They make steps for trailers that mount near the front of the trailer to aid entry and exit of the boat. Just do a search for "boat trailer step" to see what I am talking about.

I've got the Easy Step System. Awesome steps. Support 400 lbs.
They come in powder coated black and stainless steel.

FastGuy holds my hand and SkeeterSteve holds my beer! A very odd question indeed!

I appreciate everyone's feedback. Maybe FastGuy and SkeeterSteve are available for hire?

Skeeter is for hire but his beer costs are very high! FastGuy only holds Mike's hand for some reason.
