OP +h20 Extreme Angler + Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 1,410 Mansfield	Made a run to the border after work today and fished Lake Texoma. You could not ask for a better day to fish than today ...hardly any wind, overcast, and fish were biting The lake was very clear considering all the ice, snow and rains that we got this past week. Lake temp was around 45-46* I fished from 6 to 26' of water and fish were 6-12" from the bottom. Pitching the jig out & letting it swing back ...hold still for 5-6 secs. Bites was extremely light and there were times I did not know I had fish. I caught 14 and lost 3 ...2 while trying to take an action photo lol. Thought about keeping them there crappie but ended up releasing them ...most are about to pop! On the way back in, birds were working all over a main lake cove ...sooooo, I stop & fish Caught 2, lost 2 ...kept the 2. That is all
