Tawakoni on the rise and boats ramps are looking much better! First pic is the ramp at Holiday some people may think it looks bad...but let me tell you this looks Great from what it was a month ago!! With this much rain this early in the year I feel like Tawakoni has a great shot to get back to normal pool this spring! I for one am looking forward to a great fishing season! so just to let everyone know Holiday Marina's boat ramp is open and looking much better! Tawakoni is about 8 1/2 feet low now and still rising.





This is the ramp at the State Park it also looking much better! By far the best ramp on Tawakoni when the water is high enough...and it is open NOW!!!



Also the ramp at Goody's is open NOW!!
And Anchor Inn's ramp has been open...also public ramp at HWY 751 Bridge is open...I'm sure there's more that's open if anyone wants to add them.

So don't put those fishing trips off any longer start planning on catching that big one now!!

Goody's? Which ramp is that?

Goody's is formerly Marina Del Ray. Across the bridge from the 751 free ramp.(Whites bridge)

That's the 1st time I have seen the bridge referred to as "White's Bridge" in many years, that's all I used to know it by, you go back on Tawakoni as far back as I do.

About 18-19 years for me. Remember "Freak Beach"? And don't misunderstand, White, was a family name, that the bridge was named after. Don't want anyone thinking that I'm not being politically correct!

THANKS JOE. That's good info. It looks like a really good spring season for anything and everything. I'm happy that all of the businessmen around the lake will have a good year. They deserve it. It's been a long time coming.

Appreciate the update Joe! I'll be out there tomorrow. Once the lake comes up a few more feet I'm gonna get my prop re-built. Until then, it works fine with a few dings in it after hitting unseen structure.
