If facilities weren't an issue, both Toledo and Rayburn would have had a classic by now. A late feb early march classic on Toledo would be amazing.

Yes it would but it's not just about the lake. It's about a place to host the Expo and people to attend. It's about hotels, restaurants and facilities. It's an event more than its a fishing tournament and there's maybe 10 places in the country that have the resources and ability to fund it. Or should I say willingness to fund it.

yes the money is a big issue it would break most of the chamber of commerce's in this area to try and pay the required up front money.

Though I wonder if Table Rock Lake has ever been on the short list. Plently of hotels in the branson area, springfield isn't too far of drive if branson doesn't have an event center.

I will also be going... will be my first Classic to attend. +1 Tried to make a reservation at the Hard Rock but they won't let you make a reservation that far in advance.

Biggest news to me is moving it to march. I think the cold weather detracts from people going so a couple extra weeks should help that.
