Just talked to Elmo at the marina. The lake is coming up(.91 ft. low), water is off colored/muddy and the crappie are not biting at the marina.
But the sun will shine the last part of the week but the off colored water is going to hurt the crappie bite.
But this rain last nite and today may put the lake up to normal. This fresh water may put some crappie in the creeks. Second week in March, so when the water color get right the bite should be on (I hope).

Look at it this way, the longer the crappie stay in the lake......
The bigger they will be when they are in the Strike Zone.....
Don't worry, I will call you when thangs get hot.
