My Dad caught a double digit black bass while crappie fishing this past weekend. It was his 65th birthday and I'm going to get a replica for him. We took plenty of pictures and got the length and girth. All I need now is a good taxidermist / artist, to bring her to life. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Not to hijack your post but enjoy every moment with your Dad and create as many memories as you can. I dearly wish I could go with my Dad 1 more time. I'm 62 and he has been gone for 10 years and I still miss him. That is a beautiful fish.

Thanks guys. Thant's what I needed to know and I appreciate the compliments. I was considering Fish Scales because I drive through Waco often, but looks like Lake Fork Taxidermy is the popular choice.

Lmgreeri, we were luckily using baitcasters with 12lb Fluorocarbon and medium rods(bass tackle). It was our first time attemting to crappie. We stopped at a Marina and picked up some minnows and a few packs of crappie rigs. No bites after a couple hours..first bite was the big bite. Here are a couple more pics.
