Picked up a few of these to try out, what is a good bait to try on them? I was thinking a baby brushhog, or other creature bait. Going to give them a try on Tuesday just not real sure what to try.

My Pop has been using the Biffle HardHeads and Strike Kings ones with a Baby Brushhog and doing really well. I haven't gotten a chance to use them but I'd also try a Missle Baits D Bomb or Rage Tail Structure Bug. I don't think you could go wrong with any creature on them really.

They are a fun rig to fish and you can use really anything you like and catch fish on. Here is what I have caught fish on so far with a swing head: biffle bug, craw fatty, devil spear, rocket craw, super speed craw, swimming caffeine shad, and all types of twin and single tail grubs. I have seen a lot of big worms thrown on these as well. If your bait has some action that can be engaged by retrieving the bait then it will work just fine. Just start using them regularly and get a feel for them and like anything you will figure out where and how they work for you. Good luck.

Try a chigger crawl or crazy legs chigger crawl, a lot of action swimming across the bottom.

I use them with Biffle Bugs and SKRodents. Work great.

I have a friend that has been throwing those exclusively with some Caney Craws and has been doing very well.

I've had good results with a tube and a Senco type bait in clear water.
