Moved down to the metroplex and am looking for some help concerning Grapevine Lake. Can anyone tell me about this spot? I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'm wanting to take my kid camping and fishing over spring break, but am curious to know how good the bank fishing is. Best by the dock or around the bend? most popular species? Any info would be great! Thanks!

I see a lot of bank fisherman on the S/E corner of the park. the water drops off pretty quick there,throwing into a south wind would be the best for sand bass and maybe a few lmb.
