I think i saved the stator by replacing the crumbling wires but the trigger was to far gone. Looking for a trigger for an 1983 mercury 80 hp. Yes old motor but it served me well till now. If you have one please consider selling it to me. Feels a little weird asking like that but the price for a new one is going to keep me from fishing for a while.

I do not understand how 85.00 dollars is going to keep you from fishing. E-bay has the 96453A 2 trigger for 85.00 with free shipping.
