I know they are big and fat right about now, and here it is first of March with a full moon. Although the water Temps may not be favorable for the northeast texas area yet, will any / a wave or 2 go against the norm and move up or are we still a other full moon out..

The moon makes no difference on the spawn when water temps are this cold. Once temps are ideal then you may notice full moon influences. Personally, I think its more about stable conditions and water temps. Now is there a random big fish spawning somewhere? Of course but that happens every year and is outside of the norm. Kinda like fish spawning in summer and fall. Ideal conditions trump any of the moon phases.

I'm with you Jaret! It will be slow today for most lakes but if you get a bite it could be a big one. Next week is the start to good things high ' s in upper 60 ' s and lows in mid 40's

Keep an eye on the water temps in 2 weeks when there is a new moon, you might be in for some heavy action.

I've heard that the first crawfish hatch of the year is under the full moon in March....not sure if its just an old wives tale....but I've always done well on craw type baits this time of year??
