Follow Wildyfishing on Instagram and they are revealing the ATAK piece by piece. First part is on there now.

Sweet. So that is a rod hatch in the tankwell. Also looks like it has a place for a removable plate for a micro pole.

Could this be for a trolling motor?

Is this a extra "big guy friendly" kayak from Wilderness Systems?

Rear rod storage makes absolutely no sense at all to me. Center storage would be more ideal like the ocean Kayak Trident's.

So where do you put the crate if you need to get into the hatch?

Just one more cast!

So is this yak going to have a hands free option? Human powered or electric powered or both?

That rear hatch area would be a great place to keep battery(s) for all the electronic stuff.

But I could see myself forgetting to buckle the hatch and losing it on the road some where.

I guess we have to assume all these "angler kayaks" are stand-ons? No specs mentions that anymore (and I have been out of the kayak groove for awhile). At 86lbs. ... I'd like to be able to stand on it as much as it would stand on me!

Yes, the seat trims farther forward than in the rides.
