What's up fellas,

Have not posted anything in a while. With spawn season coming up I am trying to find a few good people to meet up with around the Austin area. I used to post on here quite a bit when I was in DFW area but seems that TFF is geared more towards the Dallas area for some reason. I have found some Austin websites, but I notice that all posts seem to be a year or 2 old. Kind of perplexing? Anyway, if anyone has some advice on where to find a good site for Austin Kayak fishing let me know. I have been working most of winter to find some good holes for the spawn and am hoping to find someone as obsessed as I am learning patterns here in Austin. I am still learning the river vs. lake techniques. I mostly go for largemouth but if the bite is bad I usually switch it up to get some fish in the boat.

Any advice on a good site to post on would be great.

Austinkayakfishing.com, texaskayakfisherman.com,and here are about as good as it gets for kayak fishing in Texas.

On the AKF site, rarely are there posts concerning anything other than kayak tournament bass fishing. The Austin chapter of the TKF is not very active either, however a post under freshwater or bass fishing may generate some interest. Good sources I like is austinbassfishing.com and 2coolfishing.com
I just PM like minded anglers if they are doing open posts and meet all sorts or people on the water or launch areas.
