I use to have a hard cover on my last truck and hated it when it was time to load the gear. I am thinking of getting one of those covers that will fold in sections from front to back. Any pro/cons and overall thoughts on this type of bed cover?

Bak Flip. Best one I've seen. They have quite a few models available. I have the F1 and it is worth every penny. It's strong enough to walk on too.

rock crawler, looking at the video it looks like you have to have a locking tailgate. How do you lock yours?

You do not have to have a locking tailgate. I don't have a lock on mine. But, you could buy a locking handle for your tailgate.
