About a specific lake. I was pm'd once and asked not to post about Lake Nacogdoches. Does this happen to anyone else?

This is a community forum where people share information and help each other out...
The only time I would not do it is if they directly shared information about a specific spot to me. I wouldn't publically share the spot anyways.
Now sharing baits and depths, I wouldn't have a problem sharing that at all.

Lol separates the crappie guys from the bass guys. Jk I'm bass guy too just not a tournament guy. I try to share my spots with everyone.... More catching more the fun. The boating etiquette still applies

I've had numerous PM's and posts from people about posting about a particular lake. Even more so if I post a picture of the spot I fished. Even more so if I post GPS coords. I could care less. I like to fish and share! Enjoy!

Not on crappie, but there used to be a big thread for the white bass/hybrid fisherman on Lake Belton. Well one day I posted a report about where I caught some fish and a guy PM'd me because I shared a "secret spot" and that the dregs of society would now come clean it out and not follow bag limits. It wasn't like I had accidentally discovered the "area," as I had fished it for more than 10 years off and on. The bite is only hot a few weeks a year anyways when the shad spawn is on.
