Try moving baits around the grass to start. If that's not going well then slow down with plastics. There should be plenty of fish shallow, just have to find some that aren't frozen to death. Good luck.

It amazes me the number of guys that constantly look for info on here for certain lakes but ridicule those that ask for help. Wish I knew something about that lake to help you out, but at least a couple honest guys did. Good luck!

Haven't found that to be the case at all. Many on here, as inexperienced as I am, have gone out of their way to offer tips and help. Lord knows, roflmao I sure don't have a $60k bass boat....more like ah, 10 year old $12k ..
Keep the faith.....Lots of good fishermen out here helping other fishermen.
God Bless

Sounds like things went well. Why not post it on here for all to see?

Naw. We don't. Never said we did. I just figure turnabout is fair play. You wanted and expected us to give you info about Toledo. You apparently have some info now. Why don't you play by your own rules and share it with everyone? That's all I'm asking of you.

I've shared it with those that were kind enough to provide respectable input. You'll prob just complain about the info I give anyway, sorry ain't happening ol son (sound familiar).

Lee I'll be more than happy to share info with you. I'll PM you as soon as my trip is over and let you know. I think in you're realky good hands for your trip already though!

I had ask for information in a previous (at least I think it was previous) thread here. Got a literal ton of feedback both on the forum and in PM's.
Advice on TB Late April
When I get back, will gladly share any/all information I have unless I am SPECIFICALLY asked not to.
One things for sure, fish move. With the recent round of cold weather, rains, etc. all of these things are going to change the patterns of the fish bite.
Any information I give or even yourself, by the time we get back, changes in one hour/one day or a week.
But, it might just show a 'trend', and that's truly about all (well at least that's this old guys opinion).
I joined the TFF to learn about this newly re-discovered hobby of mine.
Most here will do all they can to help out...if not all.
Your choice, as always.
Hope it was a great trip....
God Bless

Fish the main lake creek channel bends with under spins.

If that doesn't work throw a suspending jerk bait on secondary points.

If that doesn't work rip a trap through hydrilla flats

If that doesn't work just fish and enjoy your day fishing.

It might still be a bit too early for it, but I've always had good luck in the early spring by throwing a black jig with black pork in the timber along the drains of the flats maybe 75-125 yards straight out from Jimmy Bison's Landing on the La side. Hope this helps.
