How do I transfer my old humminbird waypoints to my new lowrance hds gen 2's?

Without knowing more, just save the HB wpts to a .gpx file and import to your Lowrance (and it could be done vice versa). That is what I was able to do when I had mixed units on my boat.

HB has a FAQ section on their website, they have some great instructions there.
Also each operators manual has a section to tell you how to export waypoints.
Question is if the two are compatible to export/importing data.

Export your HB waypoints from your HB units onto a SD-card.
Use HumminbirdPC(which you should have) to download those waypoints into HBPC.
Then:
1) Do a SAVE AS... from HBPC to copy that new HBPC GPX file onto the SD-card.
or
2) Just locate and copy the new HBPC GPX file onto the SD-card.
Import the GPX file into your Lowrance HDS.
