I've got a 2012 Legend Alpha 211 and I just got through putting on 3 coats of Pro-Tech sealant/polish on the exterior of the boat. The livewells are fiberglass in this boat and I was wondering if it would hurt the fish if I applied it to the inside of the livewells. I think it would help keeping stuff from sticking to the sides and bottom and make them easier to clean.

if you want to keep things from sticking to the livewell get some beeswax and use it, DO NOT use any chemical/wax or you will most likely kill fish.

beeswax will not harm them at all, apply a good coat and just leave it, beware though in warmer weather it melts easy but will still leave a thin coat.

personally I just use the live wells and clean about 3 times a yr. but then again they almost never see fish either. grin
