So I've found that the populations of shad in just about every lake have slightly different coloration. Typically I will try and either catch a few or find images of them from that lake so that I can better match the color in case of clear water conditions. I should be headed out to Fork in a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of any shad they have caught or seen out there. Or if there were any specific shad colors you've found work well this time of year. Thanks!

Rhaider..... Are you talking about for crankbaits/moving baits or soft plastic?
It really depends on the water clarity! Dirty water I like a clown or gold/orange color on moving baits! Clear water and sexy shad/bone color
Soft plastics in dirty water I uses dreen pumpkin/ red, or black tints! Clear water a watermelon, watermelon/gold or watermelon purple!
Don't have any pics of shad but this should get you pointed in the right direction bud! Hope this helps!
