Just made a new investment in a brand new boat, headed to Fork this weekend to kick off the year. Weather has been crazy for the past two weeks so I am a little unsure what conditions to expect when fishing. Not looking for any honey hole information, just some suggestions from people who have been or currently are fishing Fork and know what the fish will do with the conditions that have taken place. Any information is GREATLY appreciated, and feel free to PM me if you don't want to post to here.
Thanks ahead of time, as I do not like fishing in the blind without a plan of some sort

Cold water for sure. I would fish from the first point into a cove to midway or 2/3 back. Troll/idle to the other side and do the same thing on the way out. Traps ought to work if you have some wind. Keep moving until you start getting bit and then slow down because there will be more fish in that area. I know this sounds like "boilerplate information" but it might work for you.

Good Luck and go slow. I would slow my down my retrieve. You might look at some of the guide reports like Marc Mitchells on his web site

Don't worry about a little rain/ rising water/ cold water temp/ lethargic fish! It's all part of the game! Get that new bug on the water and break her in!
