 ice fishing tips?

any successful ice fishing techniques for florida strain bass? this has been a ridiculous week and a half. i will be surprised if the surface temps of local lakes aren't in the 30's for a few days. not likely to significantly improve for a few weeks, i guess. interested to see how long it takes to get back to where we were before all this hit. the early april full moon will be dicey, if you want 58+ temps, i fear. hope i'm off on this prediction.

Left DFW for a new granddaughters birth came to Corpus Christi and it is 38 here and snowing in Victoria go figure. Everywhere I go cold and wet. I am so ready for real springtime to get here.

I went south a few weeks ago to get out of it. Got up one morning at Falcon and had ice on my boat. That really sucks ! Those fish down there hate cold weather also.
