How can this not hurt a lake! If you like to fish for this got to make you bad. No matter how you fish!

Let's not be such a selfish generation and give back for future generations. If I want to eat fish I keep a few smaller legal fish or go to red lobster. Not a attack on trot lines , but a please give a damn for taking all the older fish out of the lake. I did recently do a google image search and seen one guide on hear posting a bunch of pics of their customers loaded back up on land with lots of over 20 lb plus blue cats. I really respect the over 10 throw back rule , and appreciate that. Will definitely be booking a few this year to Tawakoni with a guide for some good old catch and release. It's a blessing just given the opportunity to get on the water and to catch a few a big plus. Thanks to the sportsman in this sport and I am glad to pay it forward by educating anyone in my boat and who I run into at the lake. Let's keep these going and it's not a witch hunt. I have this week talk to several people about this and they love the idea of a slot size and or tag like red fishing.

Great read.it's Crazy that this topic is on here because today a guy where I work showed me some pictures of fish caught today at tawakoni there was close to 20 fish in the picture in the 20 and 30 pound range and proud about keeping everyone of them some people just don't get the 10 pound rule or catch and release on Trophy size blues

That info pretty much explains it why somethin needs to be done!

Our job is to educate those that will listen. We need to do it politely since for now what they are doing is legal. Additionally, we need to continue pushing for legislative changes.
