who around DFW is the best Humminbird setup guide? I've always set mine up in the past, but I was thinking of letting someone else show me some new things.

Here say only, Slade Doughtry, Lake Fork, and Bass Pro Shop, Garland there is a fellow that will help set it up on the water.

Slade is good! Helped me to set mine up and spent several hours on the water with me showing different scenarios.

Slade Dougharty, AKA " FORKFISH " here on the forum. He set mine up and it was like night and day.
He knows his stuff.

Slade did a seminar at Oakridge Marina that was fantastic. He can set you up. He runs birds on his boat also, although he seems to know quite a bit about Lowrance units as well.

Google Wilson Frasier "the professor" and his videos will change how you look at sonar and teach how to use GPS. Teaches you how actually go back and put cast right on what you saw on the screen. Also tells you how to interpret.
