I know this is a long shot and I really hate to ask for advice but can anyone give me some pointers on fishing this lake. I just recently moved here and I am currently limited to bank fishing for bass. I realize the weather needs to warm up a bit before they really come up to spawn. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thank you, Luke

Been on it a couple times. Can't help you on the bank fishing. I can tell you, don't go in the chute when the wind is blowing out of the east 40 mph.

Go to Eufaula cove. Find the jetty that is at the mouth of the cove. May not be great right now but as the tournaments start releasing fish it will load up. Also fish around the ramps back toward the waterpark.

As far as good places from the bank. Go and talk to Monty and Annette at A&M Tackle over there. I bet they could give you some ideas.

A & M baits is ran out of their house. It's kinda hard to find but well worth it. Give them a call for directions.

Get a crappie rod and some jigs and when you first see the dog wood trees start to bloom out, go to the areas around fountain head state part or bell star and fish any hard wood or water grass and you will catch some of the biggest crappie of your life. Should start getting good last week in March through second week in April of course all weather dependent.
As for bass fishing - the rock rip rap at Eufaula cove is a good place once we start having tournament. Another good place is the porum, dutchess creek area, and hwy 51 area.

Thank you Okyakfishing! I fished small tournaments in Texas before moving here and I hope to eventually fish some of the local tournaments on Eufaula after learning the lake a bit.

I can't remember. Get a lake map. The last big bridge you go under before you get to the timber. There is a cluster of coves there and then the timber starts. I have not been all the way to the back.
