is there a site y'all recommend for wind speed measurement at Padre Island National Seashore? I'm heading there on Saturday and have been checking weather.com. Just wondering if there is something y'all feel is more reliable?

I use NOAA and Wunderground for my general forecasting and kind of average the two different forecasts for my day of fishing. WindGuru, iWindSurf, and USAirnet are also fun to look at. Just depends on how excessive you are about wind forecasts.

Check this out. No idea how accurate it is, but it's cool... You can zoom out or in, and select a few days forward for a forecast.
