I just dont want bulky items PERMENANTLY attached to any of my coolers or yak.
But, I do like the idea of having at least 1 designated KAYAK COOLER.
I'll admit i was more than a lil sceptical about attaching accessory tracks on a cooler for "my convienance".
But, the ideas been growing on me. I mean i was pleasently suprised when yak manufactures began putting accessory tracks from factory or at least giving us more flat areas where we could mount them tracks.

I think putting them on a cooler might eventually eliminate the need for the crate all together. Accessory tracks arn't "bulky" & allow us to swapped out, add/removed accessories w/o damaging the cooler or compromising it's insulation thumb
When or if the cooler can't be used anymore, I suppose I could remove the tracks & use them again elsewhere noidea

Not long ago I stopped at Mountain Sports over in Arlington & saw their Orion Coolers made by Jackson Kayaks shocked
Now, these coolers come from factory w/YakAttack gear tracks, multiple tie down points, a standing/sitting pad on top of the cooler & a few other 1st accessories i hadn't seen on
roto molded cooler. They feel tuff n rugged & they look like they'd work well especially for paddle boarders . Here's a video i found on them:

For my birthday I was given a 25qt Brute cooler (which is now BISON COOLERS <-link made in Wash & Co, wearhouse in Keller, TX) just like this one.
It really keeps things cold or hot for a LOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGG time.
Very well built. I don't know if ill be drilling any holes in it though.
I already had a few coolers that i was using for the yak that fit well.

weve used it on rd trips, fishing, hunting, and transporting hot food.
This AM i got to wondering if adding accessory tracks would void any warranty? eek

Drilling holes into $1,000+ Kayak? Sure, no problem!

Drilling holes into $250 cooler? F that!

BTW, I'm in the same boat as the rest of y'all, no way could I drill holes into my Yeti coolers.

Called Bison Cooler Co. today to see if it would effect warranty. I ended up speeking to Tyler.
He said as long as u dont damage the cooler by error, simply adding tracks wouldn't void warranty.

He also said I could mention his name & told me Bison has a few accossories for their coolers that require screwing down to attach them eeks
Here is their warranty page: https://www.bisoncoolers.com/warranty/

I still don't have a anchor trolley for that reason.
