I'm tired of letting the weather dictate whether I fish or not. I'm about to head down the street and fish some boat slips from my hobie and see if I can't get a few thumps! I'll let y'all know how I do.

Good luck. I've just recently got a new kayak. I can't wait to get out in it. As a matter of fact I should be putting a transducer on it now but I'm much weaker than you guys when it comes to the cold. Hope you tear them up. My text inbox shows their biting!

Well guys it didn't turn out the way I planned. No sooner I get there here comes nosey old Ron who thinks he owns the entire lake! I'm sitting there in my truck just barely pulled up and he starts my way in his truck so I got out then he got out and said can I help you? I said I'm just tryin to find a good spot to launch, He told me I couldn't put my kayak in on the edge of the freakin lake lol he said you can put in at the ramp but you need a season pass! Lmao! Are you kidding me?? I know he's the owner of the " private " marina he calls it but I feel he's just being a real nit picky old grouch! And its not right if you ask me.

Yes they're expensive but when you put into consideration the fact that they don't have to be registered, you don't need gas, hands are free to fish, very stable, plenty of room, etc it starts to make more sense. They are little fishing machines! Mine is the pro angler 12 and I love it!

If it is not in the private property, you are ok to launch every where you want to with out pay or harass. Should have told him that his ramp and marina should not be attached to the bank either if he just owns the lake.

No way in hell would I pay a launch fee to fish in a canoe/kayak. You got a gasoline engine on it? Well that's another story. Are there any public parks on the lake that you can back your yak into?

Are there any public parks on the lake that you can back your yak into? yes there is but I just wanted to fish the boat slips. I should've went around to the other side of the lake to the other marina which is bigger and better anyway but I was being lazy today I just wanted to stay close.
