Just got a new bass boat, trying to think of accessories and things i need to have in it before my first trip. Been stuck inside due to weather and figured i would get a list going of things i need to load up. Would like to hear some things you wont leave the house without!

- Winter Time, change of clothes and towel.
- Rain Suit
- Fire Starter and hatchet
- Plenty of Snacks. Do not leave them in the compartment. In a week they will smell like gas.
- Gal. of water
- First Aid Kit
- Anchor and Rope
- Battery cables
- Long Handle Paddle
- Extra Bilge Pump with 6 ft. of hose attached.
- Spare Trolling motor prop./shear pin/nut and big motor prop.
- Spot light and flash light.
- Oil crate in truck, funnel, grease, bearings, rags, heavy file, tools, 4X4 block of wood.
- General boat tool kit, ratchet set, Allen set, screw drives, stain. steel assorted screws/bolts/lock nuts, zip ties 6", elect.connector kit and etc..
- Floor Jack in truck or Axle Roll-Up Jack Leg.
- Shammy, spray bottle of vinegar and water for wiping down boat.
- Boat towels.
- New set of dikes and hook removal knowledge.
- TP kit
- On water Numbers in Cell Phone and 12 volt. Charger.

Spent the night on the bank several times as well as fell in the water in the winter with a 20 mile run back to the ramp. Not going to happen again.

I agree with Donald it is like you have been with me all I need is the spare outboard prop and nut. I also carry spare filters. You can never be too prepared.

Wow thanks don, that took a lot of thought, I'm all in on bringing anything I could possibly need. You never know what will happen and I don't ever want to experience what you had to do. Thanks for the comment!
