Don't care how many posts anyone has.
Just curious how many of you have been a member of TFF for 8 years or more.
The post about what you get out of the forum got me thinking about how much has changed.

I would also like to know what you guys that HAVE been on here that long think about the way it has evolved.

No offense, but if you haven't been on here that long I'd prefer to not have your reply.

only been on for a couple of years, but have aquirred decades of knowledge from some great folks. This is not just a forum but a bible for fisherman, a great resource, Because of this forum I began creating my own jigs , have met great people everywhere I go just mention TFF and your screen name and they open up about just about anything, the bite, what baits, I always share whats been working for me, and it makes for a more enjoyable experience, Thanks to all for being a part of it

It's not quite what it used to be in the crappie forum.

Sept. 11, 2004

I wonder what the age of the average crappie fisherman is on here? I am 53.
I have been on here since Sept 2003. I moved from Texas in late 2002, and this forum
is what i have left to remember to keep the fire alive in chasing that thump.
I come back twice a year to fish,and i miss it so much. Being away from Texas since 2002, i have seen
the changes over the years, in the fishing, the lures, the techniques and the people on here from afar.
I do believe the internet really did changes things, and we wouldn't have this forum to talk fishing.
I miss stories from Ernest, Guy, DuckJerky, Paul, and many more that i cant remember. Ketchin has really brought the crappie section some life & laughs! Would love to fish a jig & bobber with him someday!

Not quite 10 years, but I enjoy the Crappie Forum. There is only so much you can learn about catching crappie. There are some Great people here that will share knowledge on anything your willing to try. No big secrets about water temperature, baits, or depth from most of the guys here. Not nearly as serious as the Bass Forum!

I buy soft plastics from a number of the members here. Different styles, sizes, & new colors. That's about all I experiment with anymore.

I enjoy the pictures that are posted of Big Crappie and some new recipes from time to time.

Been around for a long time. I lost the first account because i could t remember my pass word and after a few months of trying to recover it started a second account.

When this first started it was mostly guides and tackle rep trying to sell there goods. A lot has changed, now you have to look every day or you will be miss something.
