Headed to Palestine on Friday for several days. How's the crappie fishing? Haven't been there since the 3rd week of January. Then the crappie were all over the bridge. Anyone still catching them there? Anyone know water temps by chance. I'm guessing upper 40s? Hoping we can find them.

these here western black crappie will short bite a long tail
there aint near as many biggunz out here as in east texas for sure

That's pretty low to say the least.

The water on Palestine is super cold right now. I fished a bass tournament this past week and saw it as low as 36. I have not crappie fished the past few weeks so I don't have any good updates for ya. Good luck. Hope your catching them.

Tough day overall today. Didn't catch many but my nephew got his biggest crappie ever. It was 15" and 2.3 lbs.

That spot looks familiar....size of the fish does too...Good job young man...
