I have made it to that point where I can no longer tie knots without my "readers". It is a pain to switch them and my sunglasses out constantly during the day. I am thinking about getting either my Costas rx'd or getting a new pair of rx sunglasses. I wanted to check to see what other bass fisherman have done, where you had it done, where you bought etc. I have good vision long range, but up close it is bad. Thanks for the help. coolio

I'm using polarized fishing sunglasses from Bass Pro with integrated reader lenses... they're working for me so far!

The new Costa 580p C-Mate bifocal started shipping to dealers last week.

Correction from 1.50 - 2.50. Many new frame choices. Reader is now on the backside of the lense where it's no longer visible from the front.

Price starts at around $179

Check with your Costa dealer for info. The Costa website still reflects the older 400 C-Mates.

I go cheap and replace often. Berkley has some at Walmart that cost twenty bucks. Just bought a new pair today for low light .

I use Ono's. Reasonable price and they stand by the garuntee. Replaced a set of lenses for me for free when they delaminated after I had used them for about 5 years.

I order a pair every time I get new lenses. I just get polarized lenses, photo grey and let it go at that. Yes, I have bifocals, too. Runs about $150/set at most places, maybe more or less, depending on where you go. You can now get polarized colored lenses as well, amber, green, yellow, etc.. I just stick with the photo grey. Hope this helps.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

I use polarized clip on Cocoons from Cabelas. My glasses are rimless so I really like the way they fit. Bass Pro probably has them too and they work great! They are rugged and come in different sizes to fit most glasses. Scroll down the page to see the different types.
