I'm lookin it to trying Pflueger reels. i own a few Abus and Quantums, and know about all other brands. Heard lots of good things about Pflueger just wanted to know the ups or downs on each reel and what you prefer.
thanks
bassmaster

I would definetly go with the summit. it is a lot smoother, lighter more compact, and has the variable braking system.
the trion is still a good reel but for the extra money the summit is totally worth it.

they have the supreme that has one extra bearing but to me the summit seems smoother.
i would save the 10 bucks and go with the summit

thanks for the info. what do u use the reel for? i was thinkin of using it as a crankin rod because its hard for me to cast light 1/4 once cranks and lipless for the shollow spawning bass and schooling bass.

Good luck finding a place to repair them if you break anything. Go with Daiwa if you're wanting to experiment.

Howdy,
What Quantum reels do you have? Quantum is building some good reels and I will give you some trade in for your old ones plus the 10% TFF discount. Please email or PM me for details.
Thanks

You can get a Daiwa Advantage for around $100 and it's a great reel. I have two of them and never a problem after two seasons of tournaments.

You can not go worng with any PFlueger in my opionion. I have President's, Supremes, Summits, and Trion's.. I love them all.. none have ever failed me. Price is nice as well.
I go with the thinner spools... just easier for me..

I like the higher price diawa's they look and have better stats. I think Pflueger is the best LOOKING reel in price. TexasMo which of all th pfluegers do you prefer for crankin.
