was thinking of getting back into pouring soft plastics cause im tired of paying so much for them in stores. If anyone is interested or feels the same way, Ill sell them cheap like $3 a bag, and a discount if you bring them back once they are used/ripped up. if someones interested ill make some and post pictures in a new topic.

That's going to cost you more than that to make! Remelts can get dangerous.

People are always going to knock your idea down. That is why people from other countries are running so many businesses here in USA. Everyone scares each other out of making a positive change.

I buy home made plastics all the time. I've gotten to where I'd rather support mom and pop types than others

what types are you considering pouring and for goodness sakes don't listen to the negative ninnies. It amazes me how they come out of no where. Workfishgolf37 is pretty much on the money.
If you make some money and enjoy doing it then why not? Sounds like a win win

Remelts can be dangerous but since the OP has poured previously I'm assuming they know that. In all honesty some of the best hand pours I've ever seen were made by folks who just like to pour and have no interest in selling them other than to a few buds to pay for boat gas.

I'd like to see as well. I like the homemade baits and think that they are usually something a slight bit different then the big name store brands the bass see all day.

I'd be interested in craws, creature baits, and lizard longer than 7".

Moisture....spit in some bacon grease @ 350 and see what happens..same thing as moisture in plastic @ 350 Did it once 6 yrs ago...I will never re-melt again...and the smell will peel the paint off the walls but is a great deterrent for skunks & possums. I will add this...done correctly used plastic can be salvaged by someone who has a lot of experience with plastic.
