Yesterday while crossing over the Little Mustang bridge about 1:30PM I looked out and saw the water boiling while shad were being demolished. Not sure it was sandbass or bass but still cool to see it considering the weather. Actually have started seeing some shad being exploded on while out fishing but usually just a blowup or two.

Wouldn't be surprised one bit if it was largemouth. We've been catching schooling fish on pines since December.

If it is the area I am thinking it was a well known spot many years ago this time of year for catching some huge pre spawn bass that used to school up there. I may be wrong but I think Jimmy Houston's wife had a really good tournament with that same scenario and location back in the day.

Mark, I saw a huge school blowing at the dam on Ray Roberts Sunday, lots of birds on em too.
I am not making any decisions until the bourbon kicks in!
