Good interview. So glad he won it. Been a big fan of him for a while now. Really like how humble he is. My young boys know his "fisherman" song word for word....And I'm pretty sure my wife would leave me for him! lol

No, Livingston is NOT among my listed below favorites! Been there, done that, fell for it once, never again. As they advertise, "The Difference is Clear"....

Lee, take those livingston's with you to Toledo ...throw one in the right place and it will catch fish.. Randy Howell, did pretty good on the one he was throwing in the classic. Didn't win but not a bad follow up to his last year's finish..

I guess you have to be a pro to catch fish with them. Randy Howell has a Classic win and another classic top 10 with the same exact Livingston lure. Have I bought any? No, because they are $16. Do they catch fish? It's quite obvious that they do. Go watch someone a little closer to home whack them on Athens with the lipless bait, Bill Wilcox. All that to say that I'm not quite sure where your logic is coming from...

Hi, True Randy did win and was promoting Livingston but, there was a LOT of consternation about if is actually caught those really great fish on the promoted 'Howler'. Never got a straight answer but, I dummied up and ordered two. Same time I got mine for some $14.95ea, they were readily available at Walmart...for MUCH less, I mean a LOT. Since then I have not heard of anyone including Bill promote that bait. After 'per-ordering' and having to wait and then to have those same baits show up at Walmart at the same time I received mine...Arghhhhhhhhh.....that REALLY P.O.'d me. Wouldn't it have you?
Shows me ZERO customer loyalty. The local 'Pro' for them in this area could not explain that one either.
Also true, he did finish in the top 10 at the Bass Masters Classic but, I can't find what bait he ACTUALLY caught fish on, can you? He still promotes their line, sure... it's called $$ and I understand that.
Anyhow, bottom line:
Of the four I ordered: Two Howlers and two jerk-baits, 1, and ONLY 1 made any sound. I tried using both with zero success so, you may be right.
Only a 'Pro' can successfully use this line of baits and be productive.
I sure don't see old Bill using and pulling in fish on them watching Honey Hole.
The bait is a fad/a gimmick. I fell for it, am sure others have to. I will personally just chalk it up as a bad go.
