Does anyone here fish Tyler SP or Faulkner Park for the stocked trout? If so, have you caught any this winter?
I haven't caught a single one but I haven't seen anyone else catch one either. Actually I have only seen a couple people fishing for them.
In years past, I used to catch them regularly and would see a good many people fishing for them. I have been skunked on the trout every time. Eventually I switch to bass fishing and usually manage to catch at least one in weather I would think was much better for a trout bite!

Use mini marsh mellows and usually you can catch a few.

Did they stock Tyler SP this year, Not saying they didn't but I never heard anything about it this year,

I know they stocked it in December and I believe they had another scheduled earlier this month. I've seen trout hitting on top and even missed a couple strikes. I just haven't seen the number of fishermen like in years past and those I've seen weren't catching anything.

They are stocking Woldert Park in North Tyler every couple weeks. I think the have 1 0r 2 more times to stock about 150 or 200 at a time. Check the TPWD website under Neighborhood fishing and go to the trout stocking report... just looked online, 3/6 is the last stocking for the year.

We have had trout for dinner four times,catch 5 quicker than getting fish at the market!sandy point west end of Faunkner park.whole corn 2# line #12 hooks. Good Luck.
