Soloskiff has come out with a rotomolded version of their micro skiff and will be shipping in April. It also said it now has a nationwide network of dealers set up. The new skiff will sell for $1700.
Anyone here have any info on any Texas dealers?
Thanks, Roger

Interesting boat. Their site says to contact them. I know it's not a yak but most of us by default like small boats/skiffs - let us know if you get one. http://www.soloskiff.com/faq/

Hope it will be stable for fly fishing.. I think it will be. Looks as if these were initially designed for the fly fisher. I am def interested in the roto mold version.

Yes, very fly. Since Tom Mitzlaff is the designer who created the Mitzi Skiff, he's pretty fly focused. I've talked to him on phone at length over the years, and had to hold my tongue on this new boat for a couple of months, but there it is! A friend in Houston has one of the originals on order, and that'll take some time. Essentially, the emphasis on this boat is motoring to where you want to get, then high performance poling to sight fish. Tom says he can beat anyone rowing when he races them - poling.
