I would like to see them try that on an East Texas lake. They would be calling a tow truck.

Loaded one like that twice this weekend. No problem on sand.

I once launched mine in the ditch and trolled down the ditch until the water got deep enough to use my outboard. This was the Sabine River when it was out of the banks and there was no way to launch at the ramp that was under water by five feet.

We launch in the bayou's without a ramp all the time. Just back trailer to edge of steep bayou embankment and disconnect. Tie heavy rope to tongue of trailer and shove it over the edge. The flatbottom will float off of the partially submerged trailer. When you get done fishing just hook boat back to trailer and tie rope to truck and pull whole rig back up embankment.
If I can get away from the Gulf I have a muley and an elk tag for colorado

Anyone notice the steering is on the right? Must be Australia. I would not think the salt water would be very good for the tow vehicle.

Launched off the muddy banks of lake J B Thomas for years. Now we have a lake again with two concrete ramps! Us rednecks are uptown now!
