Wind blew hard today but managed 14 of which 10 were keepers. Top 5 weighted 22 lbs. Typical Squaw footballs. I was catching fish but the wind shifted from due south to southwest and cranked even harder about noon and after about 2 over the bow I ran to the west side..got tired of having my foot in the TM constantly. All in all.. A good day. Did break my hook on my football head during a fish but these football heads have failed me before.. Cheap hooks.. Was nice to get out. Was a nice "extra" to my Falcon trip last week at Billy's place. Boy these Squaw fish pull hard like Falcon toads.. I think I got my $30 worth...

Looks like a good day. I fished Squaw a few times the first year it was open. I remember having to pick up a wood disk with a number on it and turning it in before you left. Don't remember having to pay.

Yes... They gave you a wooden disk with a number.. I'm Remember.. It was $5. Walleye was in the lake too. Now I'm showing my age...
