I bougth a new 332c. Just a quick question has anyone tried to mount the skimmer transducer in the hull of a boat. Just wondering if it would work. Can't find any information on wether or not it will shoot thru hull. One more is the navtronics hot spots worth buing of is it liek the lowrance one just a bunch of xxxx on the screen all the time.

The skimmer that comes with the 332 should work as a shoot thru on fiberglass only though. it says how to do it in the first few pages of the manual that comes with it.

And the navionics chip is much better than the lowrance one but they are coming out with a new upgraded one next year, it's supposed to have a lot more detail to it. but the navionics one has a $50 mail in rebait with it right now. so they are the same price after the rebate.

hope that helps.
