That sounds like work but well worth it. One good think about all the work you are putting into the boat is now you know every nut and bolt and how it works. That will come in handy in the future. I just read a good boat captain knows his boat inside and out. Please keep us posted on your progress. X2------that's a fact! you redo an older boat with new wiring and hoses and when you're through, you know where every squeak and bump is. if it does break, you can go right to the problem without any trial and error. good job on the tank. I'd much rather fish with someone that knows their own boat. That is why I think it is sometimes good to rebuild a busted motor if you really like the motor even if it is older. You know every bit of the motor and when it does have an issue you get right to the problem with little down time. Being stuck 10 miles from the ramp is no fun especially when it was an easy fix.
Current Cylinder Index is 42.

I'm always amazed at the helpfulness of TFF members; great place! I've tackled several jobs - and succeeded - with help from members. Thanks to all!
