I've yet to get my boat wet in 2015. My work schedule is demanding, and EVERY available day I've had to go this year has been met with a severe cold front (25+ degree temp drop) with crazy wind and precipitation. It's happening again this Sunday, according to current forecasts. I think I'm to the point of saying screw it and going even if it's going to be absolutely miserable. Sighhhhh...needed to vent. Hate being restricted to my little neighborhood pond for so long.

Same here. Haven't been out since September. When I used to go every Saturday and Sunday and Thursday evenings.

Excuses, excuses, Ive been 15 times since December 1st. at least once every weekend, sometimes twice a weekend, including 6 tournaments, some miserable conditions at times, it's all in your head!

I feel your pain....here in Knoxville....I started my wife's car yesterday, for the first time since Monday...we couldn't get out of the garage...I spent the majority of the day, yesterday, scraping off our driveway....1" thick solid ice...now that we can get out....Its off to the Classic.....

I've been fishing once since September and that was offshore. New job away from family so when I'm off I go see my wife and kids. On top of that no boat and no one I know down where I work has one.
Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

I feel ya. Im Have the same problem I thought i was going to get to go to fish lake fair field last weekend but after a 3 hour drive i got to the lake and there was 20 mph winds and 3 foot sewlls. Probably would have tried it but was raining pretty good and the boat ramp was to slippery and to steep. On the way out a game warden saw me and i told him about the ramp and he agreed and said id be a fool to try to go out there. It Was a long ride back and a waste of a tank of gas.

My schedule is very similar... Hard to catch a day off. Put my boat in to get serviced and catch beautiful days off but no boat... Womp, womp...
