They changed the take off time till 8:30 so they have a 6 1/2 hr first day..

I looked on the weather and it shows at 8am to 9am it's going to be 10to 14 degrees.

Yep. When your jig skids across the ice, it too cold for bass fishing.

Yep. When your jig skids across the ice, it too cold for bass fishing. can they trade their trolling motors in for augers?

Ok went on there and read a comment that made me think.
Somebody suggested moving the classic around... Like what if they did a rotation... So you have dead middle of the winter one year, a late spring early summer, a dead middle of the summer and a fall date. I think this would be AWESOME. Also add the rule that you couldn't fish the same body of water in the same season before you fished it the other three seasons...
So heartwell could be hit in winter again before they ran the rest on it. I get really sick of it being, Hartwell, red river, the delta they get more play, at the same time of year, than any other. I think this would be a cool twist

Another great call from Bassmaster; what does that accomplish ? Exactly what I was thinking! Still going to be below freezing with ice....a one hour or so delay really doesn't change much.
