What's your preference, and why? I like the red, but haven't tried InvisX.

I really like the red myself. Tried the InvisX once and kept breaking off on the cast. I think I just got a bad spool with nicks every so often in the line. I checked my reel and change the line and never had another issue but I didn't go back with the InvisX. Have never had a problem with the red so didn't see any reason to change. Plus, I believe the InvisX is a little higher price than the red.

I like the InvisX best myself. It seems to be a little more supple. And a little less memory.

Red is best of the cheaper fluorocarbons IMO. Get some kvd line conditioner for it

I like Invisx up to 12lb, and then red label for 15 lb or more. Doesn't seem to me there's too much of a difference once you get into the heavier lines.

Invisx is slightly smaller in diameter than Red label for the same pound test.
Maybe it means Invisx is a slightly stronger line. Maybe its just marketing.
I've used both, had good results with both.

Red is best of the cheaper fluorocarbons IMO. Get some kvd line conditioner for it ABSOLUTELY!!! Red Label and groceries. It's the only thing Walmart is good for.

On a similar note. I have tried and tried to like Tatsu, but it isn't better, IMO, than Invisx. Not for $40 for a spool. It is good. Just not worth double the price of Invisx and 3x the price of red.

I like the InvisX best myself. It seems to be a little more supple. And a little less memory. I agree. Red label is a little stiffer than Invizx.

Red label for around the wood and timber because its strong, and InvizX in open water for longer cast.Just tie a double clinch knot and double check it with a good tug a bad knot will break,so tie it again and check it till you get a strong knot.

I used to throw Red Label but I broke too many off on the hooksets. I now use Bass Pro floro and I also tie a new knot so that may have something to do with it. I am going to go back to Red Label and see if that new knot makes any difference. It'll help save a few $$$

The differences between the two are minimal. Just depends on how much money you like to spend. I will keep using Red Label as long as its half the price of InvisX.

I won't ever switch lines again. I've fished with Invizx for quite a while now and won't look back. If it ain't broke don't fix it.
