I think I just got a bad spool with nicks every so often in the line. I checked my reel and change the line and never had another issue but I didn't go back with the InvisX. Have never had a problem with the red so didn't see any reason to change. Plus, I believe the InvisX is a little higher price than the red.

kirbydog Pro Angler K Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 945 Colorado/Texas	Invisx is slightly smaller in diameter than Red label for the same pound test. Maybe it means Invisx is a slightly stronger line. Maybe its just marketing. I've used both, had good results with both.

Agree, both great lines, with minor differences between the two. InvisX isn't as stiff and is smoother to the touch.

I now use Bass Pro floro and I also tie a new knot so that may have something to do with it. I am going to go back to Red Label and see if that new knot makes any difference. It'll help save a few $$$
