Until today, I thought jugs had to be white. I've been told that many times. I saw a guy on the internet today showing how to make juglines. After he made them, he said he was told they had to be white so he bought some white tape and wrapped them with it. I discovered the truth accidentally when I was reviewingthe TP&W web site. Then I checked in the hunting and fishing regulations handout. Seems they can be any color other than orange which is reserved for commercial only. So, did the regs change or have I and others always been wrongly informed?

Don't feel too bad, the new rule just went into effect September 2014. In the past, they had to be white (orange for commercial fishing). Now, they can be anything but orange.
No fish is too good for the grease.

Good it was hard to find white noodles in any of the stores. Always heard you could buy them from a place in W. Ft. Worth

Good it was hard to find white noodles in any of the stores. Always heard you could buy them from a place in W. Ft. Worth Duct tape...it is good for writing your gear tags on as well. I don't jug very often because it is a lot of work and not as much fun, but I have been known to put out a few prospect jugs. The worst part about white jugs is when sometimes when you think you have found your jug it flies away.

It is really hard to change your view about something you have known for so long. I had to go check the new regs out at the TPW website. It is way overdue but finally here.
