 im thinking about building crappie structure

I'm thinking about building crappie structure, i found this picture on Craigslist. guy was selling them higher then those structures at bass pro. anyone know what the black hose is or what its used for.

Pretty sure that is 1/2" drip irrigation tubing. You can get it from lowes for about $12 for 100 ft. I have built some similar with it. Drill the holes just big enough for a tight fit.

Yep, drill the holes 5/8 inch.. There is a you tube video on how to build em...

Make sure you sink them on a hard bottom. Most places in Lake Waco have a mud bottom that would swallow up most of that bucket and pipe when filled with sacrete. Ck
