I don't understand why people always drag fish in shore and let dirt and leaves get all over them. What's the purpose. Can't someone lift a fish that size out of the water by hand?

Its possible that as he was taking the hook out, the fish wiggled and fell to the ground. Its happened to me before. Pretty sure that it's happen to everyone at one point in time.

That happens to me a lot, fish are slippery last time I checked. roflmao That and I'm not the most coordinated person you ever met. Also I sometimes lay them down to measure them an take their picture. I don't like lipping a big catfish for a picture those things can put the hurt on you if they go to twisting.

Nice catches!

The first fish looks clean because it's not a fish that people normally keep to measure. The other two have leaves on them. He probably tried to measure those two against his rod and they wiggled around while he was reaching for his camera. That's all.

I would have, but I left my 12 foot long arm at home... Sometimes gravity and slippery fish flopping around don't work out the way you'd like. I also spoke to gravity, he said he would get right on that....
